Creating and Publishing Autumn Imago

With the generous support of the Manuscript Academy, I’ve created two videos that document my creation and publication of my novel of family and natural drama set within Baxter State Park: Autumn Imago.

This video presents the overview of my path to publication, with details on my search for an agent, experience with the KindleScout program, and my final acceptance as one of only three authors chosen to launch Harper One’s new imprint: Harper Legend:

This video is a screenshare overview of how I used the writing program Scrivener to adopt principles learned from Larry Brooks’ Story Engineering to employ my “Telescopic View of Story Structure.” This process for zooming in and out of my narrative was the single biggest factor in my success in producing a novel accepted for publication by an imprint of one of the “Big 5,” (HarperCollins).
